Integration White Paper
Prior to developing the Integration and Regional Priorities chapters of the IRWMP, an Integration White Paper was developed and presented at Workshop #1. This document was developed as a survey of regional water management efforts from throughout California and other states in the West:
- Sacramento Area Water Forum;
- Portland Regional Water Supply Plan;
- Texas State Water Plan;
- Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority; and
- North Coast Integrated Regional Water Management Plan.
The objective of the Integration White Paper was to identify the “lessons learned” from other regional water management efforts, as well as the specific and implied integration requirements from the Proposition 50 Guidelines. Further description of integration challenges and specific approach for the Bay Area will be developed in the Integration chapter of the IRWMP.
